Year 6 Spring Grammar, punctuation and spelling pupil booklet pack

The Year 6 Spring Grammar, punctuation and spelling pupil booklet pack includes a separate grammar and punctuation booklet and spelling booklet for use in the year 6 spring term. Pupils should complete both booklets. These tests provide reliable standardised and age-standardised scores to help you confidently assess performance mid-way through the year. The assessment can be used formatively to identify strengths and weaknesses and inform next steps in teaching and learning, in advance of the KS2 national curriculum tests. The grammar and punctuation booklet includes a wide variety of question formats to test grammar and punctuation knowledge, using straightforward language and contexts to explore children’s understanding and knowledge. The spelling booklet tests spelling words in contextual sentences, in line with the format of the KS2 national curriculum tests. Each pack contains 10 Grammar and punctuation booklets and 10 Spelling booklets.
