Used in conjunction with the Year 1 Summer Maths paper 1 pupil booklet (sold separately), both papers are designed for all pupils to complete.

The age-appropriate year 1 summer maths assessment enables you to summarise attainment and progress at the end of the year and can be used to provide a point from which to monitor progress across consecutive years. Paper 2 includes arithmetic and mathematical reasoning sections.

The arithmetic sections assess pupils' ability to answer straightforward calculation questions. The two mathematical reasoning sections require pupils to consider the method or operation they will use in answering. Paper 2 provides less support and the requirements are more abstract. This paper samples the entire maths curriculum content for year 1. Each pack contains 10 booklets.
