Used in conjunction with the Year 2 Autumn Maths reasoning pupil booklet (sold separately), both papers are designed for all pupils to complete.

These age-appropriate assessment materials enable you to reliably assess maths attainment in year 2 and provide a point from which to measure maths progress within year 2 and year-on-year. The arithmetic paper assesses pupils’ ability to answer straightforward calculation questions. The demand of the questions is transparent and requires only manipulation of the numbers, not consideration of the operation required.

This paper assesses content from the year 1 and year 2 number strands of the curriculum. Each pack contains 10 booklets.
