Year 1 Spring Reading paper 1 pupil answer booklet pack

The Year 1 Spring Reading paper 1 pupil answer booklet is designed for all year 1 pupils to complete.

You should use this in conjunction with Year 1 Spring Reading paper 2 pupil answer booklet (sold separately), which is a second paper for pupils who can work more independently.

These age-appropriate reading materials enable you to reliably monitor progress in year 1 and can be used formatively to help you identify strengths and weaknesses and inform your teaching. To support pupils who find reading more challenging, paper 1 includes an aural comprehension section. This paper slowly builds in challenge and includes a word and sentence comprehension section and a reading comprehension section that is guided by the teacher. Each pack contains 10 booklets.
