The Year 2 Spring Reading paper 1 pupil answer booklet is designed for all year 2 pupils to complete. You should use this in conjunction with Year 2 Spring Reading paper 2 pupil answer booklet (sold separately) which is a second paper for pupils who can work more independently.

These age-appropriate reading materials enable you to reliably monitor progress throughout the academic year and can be used formatively to identify strengths and weaknesses and inform teaching. Paper 1 includes short practice pages before two reading comprehension sections featuring a short story and an information text.
