Used alongside the Year 5 Autumn Reading pupil answer booklet (sold separately), these age-appropriate assessment materials offer a reliable way to assess reading attainment in year 5 and a point from which to measure reading progress within year 5 and year-on-year.

This booklet contains three age-appropriate texts, reflecting the types seen in the end of KS2 national curriculum tests and that pupils are likely to be reading more widely.
